100% Baggage Screening System
2005 - present
In 2005, Logplan was selected to provide a plan to reorganize the baggage screening system utilized by Des Moines International
Airport. The existing system was a combination of lobby and bag room screening solution that was not effective in providing
the level of service that was required by the airport, airlines or the local TSA.
As part of the contract, Logplan was also requested to design a longer term baggage screening solution that would be able to meet the needs of Des Moines International Airport.
Logplan coordinated with all stakeholders and developed a flexible solution that accommodated for the needs of the airport. Logplan is currently coordinating with the TSA for the finalization of the system design and is working with the airport on the development of a budget for the project.
