Zagreb International Airport (Croatia)

2007 - present

Due to significant increases in passengers over the past several years, Zagreb Airport Ltd. has decided to construct a new terminal building for Zagreb International Airport. This new facility will be better suited and sized to accommodate the increased passenger demand.

The construction work on the new terminal facilities is expected to start in 2008 and be completed sometime after 2010. The old terminal building must be able to handle all passengers till the opening of the new terminal facilities. One of the biggest challenges for the old terminal building is its limited baggage handling system which is nearing maximum capacity.

Logplan was contracted to develop a cost-effective method of expanding the capacity of the current baggage system with an eye to the continued use of the existing facility by low cost carriers.
