Logplan is looking for the following positions within its Baggage Handling Systems Team:
Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer
for Baggage Handling Systems
Based initially in our main office in Frankfurt, you will be able to travel internationally for short to long term periods to assist other on-site specialists with the design, planning and project management for the implementation of baggage handling systems. Contributing your unique skills to accomplish multiple project tasks, you will be able to work effectively both independently and within a multi-disciplined team of specialists.
Basic skills required for this position:
- Understanding of complex electrical/mechanical systems;
- Able to work in a team or independently;
- Highly developed organizational and personal management skills;
- Good reporting and presentation skills;
- Working knowledge of all relevant computer software tools;
- Ability to 'think outside the box' and find solutions to complex problems;
- High attention to details;
- A sound understanding of architectural and engineering processes;
- Able to communicate effectively and discuss complex technical issues;
- A high level of written and spoken English and German.
Background required for this position:
- (At minimum) a degree in engineering;
- At least two years of previous engineering experience with baggage or materials handling systems;
- Previous project management experience is required;
- Previous experience on airport projects is a plus.
