Logplan is looking for the following positions within its Terminal Planning Team:
Project Engineer for Terminal Planning
Based initially at our main office in Frankfurt Germany, you will be part of a team of terminal design specialists responsible for the planning, development, optimization or expansion of airport terminal buildings and related facilities. Having a good understanding of airport functions, you will support and learn from some of the world's top experts in the field.
As a part of Logplan's Terminal Planning Unit, your main responsibilities will be to support with terminal planning and consulting activities. Additional responsibilities may include support in the development of simulation models for evaluation of passenger flow and layout concepts.
Basic skills required for this position:
- Ability to work in a team environment;
- Good reporting and presentation skills;
- Working knowledge of all relevant computer software tools;
- A high level of attention to details;
- A good understanding of architectural and engineering processes;
- Able to communicate effectively and discuss complex technical issues;
- Fluent German and a high level of English;
- Basic programming skills (prior experience on simulation modeling is a plus).
Background required for this position:
- A Masters Degree or equivalent in aeronautical or civil engineering (Masters Thesis related to airport development is a plus);
- One or two years of previous work experience in an airport environment is preferred;
- Flexibility to travel.
