APM system at Madrid Airport In 2000, Logplan began providing technical consulting services to the Spanish Airport Authorities (AENA) for the development and implementation of the APM system for Madrid Barajas Airport. The service included bid evaluation, supplier selection and project management for the implementation and certification of the system. The system has operated successfully since it opened for revenue service in 2006 with an expected peak hour capacity of 6,500 passengers per hour per direction.

Logplan has provided the entire project management including, scheduling, systems facilities development, implementation and technical verification of all system and subsystem units. During the Design Review phase, Logplan ensured that the supplier design met all technical specification requirements and verified that compliance with applicable national and international codes were maintained.

Logplan is currently providing optimization and oversight services for the operation and maintenance of the APM system.
