Integration of 100% In-line Baggage Screening

2003 - present

Baggage Screening System Frankfurt International airport, one of the top ten busiest airports in the world, began a program to integrate into its existing baggage handling system an in-line 100% baggage screening system.

Logplan was contracted by Frankfurt International Airport to perform a review of planning requirements for the system. In cooperation with the Fraport BHS R&D department, Logplan prepared the tender documents for the integration of in-line screening systems into the existing baggage handling systems at Terminal 1 and 2.

Logplan also performed the technical and economical evaluation of proposals, project management for the implementation of the multi level inline screening systems in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, and project management for the integration of in-line screening devices into the infeed stations for transfer baggage lines.
