Wichita Mid-Continent Airport (USA)
100% Baggage Screening System
2006 - 2009
HNTB Architects were selected by the City of Wichita to design a new terminal for the Wichita Mid-Continent Airport. This project is to be a classic design bid build project. HNTB selected Logplan to design and provide the construction management for the new baggage and in-line baggage screening system. The new terminal building is expected to be completed in 2011. The airport is served by nine carriers and has a passenger volume of around 1.5 million passengers per year. Currently Logplan has prepared the initial design for the baggage system.
