Terminal Expansion at Detroit International Airport In 2006, Logplan was selected to be part of the design build team for the baggage handling system and in-line baggage screening system on the Detroit North Terminal redevelopment project.

Logplan has provided the client a review of the preliminary design and assisted in developing improvements to the initial layout which will allow for better system performance.

Logplan also provided simulation services to Detroit to determine how the system would perform. The simulation developed by Logplan was a key tool in allowing the project team to understand the complexity and system design work necessary to ensure a performing operating system. Fortunately for the Detroit project team, the simulation was developed early enough to effect necessary changes prior to the installation. Logplan is currently assisting the project with design and planning services.

Currently Logplan is using its new in-house developed emulation tool to support the commissioning of the system.
