Services Provided

Specification Preparation, Technical Procurement Support, Testing and Commissioning for New Vehicle Acquisition

Project Overview

The DEN automated guideway transportation system (AGTS) that connects the terminal to the concourses has been in service for an excess of 30 years and the fleet of vehicles are all approaching the end of life.

Logplan was instrumental in working with Alstom (formally Bombardier) to develop a vehicle that would have the latest technology but installed on a chassis that would fit on existing systems. Further, DEN retained Logplan to develop the specification to procure 26 of these new vehicles. Logplan has also supported DEN with the initial procurement and is actively providing technical review and testing verification.

The vehicles have begun to arrive at DEN and are in testing. The first train set is scheduled to be operating this summer with the entire fleet operating by year end. As the new vehicles come online, a portion of the existing fleet will be retired.
